JERSEYS Jerseys are funded by means of major sponsorship, when new jerseys are received old jerseys will be distributed to current registered players, approx every 2/3 years dependent on current fincial status of the Club. Current playing jerseys should never be distributed to players, other than to play in an officially sanctioned match. They are not to be worn on any other occasion without the prior approval of the Management Committee.
CARE OF JERSEYS Match jerseys are not to be worn other than in a formally sanctioned match. They should be retained as a set for the year and not distributed to individual players. The team, by roster or volunteer, is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of jerseys as per the following:
1. When excessively dirty or muddy, hose out excess mud prior to washing, 2. Use cold water and a mild (cold wash) powder 3. Hang them to dry from the tails 4. Try to hang them in the shade 5. Hanging in direct sunlight, turn inside out, remove from sun when dry 6. Report damage to Club Committee. 7. do not wash in hot water 8. do not put in dryer 9. do not use bleach Failure to follow these instructions causing damage to jerseys will result in person responsible buying replacement jerseys.
BOOTS The Club recommends moulded sole football boots for Under 7 to Under 9. Under 10's and over may wear moulded or screw in tags.
HEADGEAR / SHOULDER PADS The Club supports the wearing of head gear and shoulder pads.
MOUTH GUARDS The club strongly recommends the use of professionally fitted mouth guards. Cost can be claimed under private health insurance.
Maintenance of the MOUTH GUARD As we all know most fields today are built on reclaimed land and that the spread of hepatitis in the community is present. It is very important to keep MOUTH GUARDS sterilized.
