HEADGEAR / SHOULDER PADS
The Club supports the wearing of head gear and shoulder pads.

HEPATITIS B - MENINGOCOCCAL VACCINATIONS
The Club strongly recommends that for health reasons they should consider having their child immunized. Please discuss this with your family doctor.

MOUTH GUARDS
The club strongly recommends the use of professionally fitted mouth guards. Cost can be claimed under private health insurance.

Maintenance of the MOUTH GUARD
As we all know most fields today are built on reclaimed land and that the spread of hepatitis in the community is present. It is very important to keep MOUTH GUARDS sterilized.

FIRST AID
The Club provides qualified first aid personnel at every home game. The Club will reimburse costs and encourage team strappers to obtain first aid or Sports Medicine qualifications. Any member seeking initial or extended qualifications should contact the Club prior to undertaking a course.
Initial issue First Aid Kits are provided by the Club, but consumed stocks are to be replaced by the team.
ANY DIRECTIVES BY QUALIFIED SPORTS MEDICINE OFFICIALS SHOULD BE FOLLOWED FOR YOUR CHILD’S PROTECTION AND SAFETY.
