NRL 13 – 16’s Boys and Girls Development Clinics

This school holidays the NRL will be holding a number of development clinics for 13-16 year old boys and girls at the Norths Devils from 9.00am – 4.00pm each day.  These will focus on having fun and developing basic skills and will also include education sessions on play wellbeing and strength and conditioning.

Clinic details are as follows:

  • Girls Only: U13s to U16s – Tuesday, 16 April 2019
  • Boys Only: U13s to U16s – Wednesday, 17 April 2019
  • Boys Only: U13s to U16s – Thursday, 18 April 2019

Please note, both boys clinics are identical, cost covers 1 day only. Cost for these clinics is $60 per participant and includes an NRL training t-shirt, NRL trucker cap, NRL International football, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

NRL Sports Trainer Series

The NRL Game Development Team, in conjunction with Rugby League Brisbane are hosting and an NRL Sports Trainer Series to be held at Arana Leagues Club from 6-8.30pm on Tuesday, 26th March and Tuesday 30th April 2019. This is a FREE opportunity for League First Aid, Level 1 and Level 2 Sports Trainer qualified personnel to expand on their knowledge of topics such as Concussion in Rugby League, sports taping and injury assessments.

Qualified trainers who attend both sessions will also receive a starter kit courtesy of Eslastoplast and AlphaSport as a thankyou gift. For more information on the event and how to register, please refer to the flyer

In 2019, South East Queensland will be trialing some exciting new concepts with the aim of attracting more families to our great game, making it even more fun, and offering age appropriate skill development opportunities for our young stars.

These changes will be supported by new coach development and support programs for the games passionate, hardworking mini & modified games coaches.
